Description
Donald S. Rothchild (1928-2007) served as Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Davis. The collection
contains selected manuscripts of Rothchild's conference papers and writings which focus on politics and government in Africa.
Background
Donald S. Rothchild (1928-2007) received his undergraduate degree from Kenyon College (1949), entered the military for two
years during the Korean War, received his masters degree from the University of California, Berkeley (1954), and his doctorate
from Johns Hopkins University (1958). He became a Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Davis in
1965.
