returned to California State Assembly, 1932-46; speaker of the California State Assembly, 1942-46; re-elected to the California
State Assembly, 1950-54; married Nancy Player in Los Angeles, California, on September 21, 1911; died in Beverly Hills, California,
on July 20, 1960.
