Description
Exams and instructional material, maps, and navigation equipment collected and created by Max E. Shaffer during the early
1940s. Shaffer studied at USC's Naval Preparatory School, the Naval Air Reserve educational center in New Orleans, and later
at the Naval Air Transport Service Command Advanced Naval Air Navigation program in Corpus Christi. Also included are some
of Shaffer's military orders.
