The Carl Reindel Collection, 1961-1981, reflects Reindel’s two decades as an actor in film and television. Among his best-known credits are Bullitt (1968), Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970), The Andromeda Strain (1971), and television programs such as Bonanza, Ironside, Gunsmoke and Perry Mason. The collection consists of annotated scripts, clippings, on-set photographs, press kits and other production ephemera.

Carl Reindel (1939-2009) was an actor in film and television. Among his best-known movie credits are Bullitt (1968), Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970), and The Andromeda Strain (1971). He also made guest appearances on numerous hit TV series, including Bonanza, Ironside, Gunsmoke and Perry Mason. After leaving acting in 1981, he became an insurance agent in Valley Village, CA.
