    Biographical Note

    Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Franklin was an author, inventor, diplomat, politician, and scientist.

    Scope and Content

    This collection consists of various manuscripts and letters by, to, and about American diplomat Benjamin Franklin assembled at the Huntington Library. The materials date from 1750 to 1787.
