    Biographical / Historical

    Robert Chester Turner (active 1887-1919), a mining engineer who lived in Berkeley, California, was vice-president of the Brunswick Consolidated Gold Mining Company, which had offices in both New York and California.

    Scope and Contents

    The collection consists of letters, documents (including five volumes of accounts, by-laws, etc.), and three letter books related to the Brunswick Consolidated Gold Mining Company and mining enterprises in California and the West. Correspondents include: R.H. Countiss, C.H. Mallen, Harvey Seeley Mudd, Seeley Wintersmith Mudd, and W.H. Oscanyan.
