Background
Maurice Buxton Forman was an English bibliographer, editor, and postal worker. He was the
son of H. (Harry) Buxton Forman, a bibliographer and forger, and Laura Selle. Although
Maurice was interested in several literary figures during his lifetime, he is best known for
his work on George Meredith and John Keats.
