Orders, plans, memoranda, reports, correspondence, speeches and writings, clippings, printed matter, photographs, and memorabilia relating to Allied strategic planning during World War II, military operations in China, American foreign policy in China, and post-war American politics and foreign relations. Many documents contain classified markings; documents from the World War II era have been released and many have been declassified by the National Archives Records Administration.
