Description
The Steven Marcus photographic collection contains approximately 1200 negatives taken during 1964. A
student at the University of California Berkeley during Free Speech Movement (FSM), Marcus photographed
FSM events regularly during the Fall for various local publications. This selection of 121 photographs
document the primary events and personalities of the Free Speech Movement.
