Collection includes clippings and other biographical materials; photographs, 1932-60; copies of some of his articles; press releases, 1960-61; and correspondence and reports on the Philip B. Gallagher Memorial Book Fund in the Stanford University Libraries, 1999-2002.

Biographical / historical:

Philip B. Gallagher earned his MS in electrical engineering at Stanford University in 1951 and his Ph.D. in 1956. He was a senior research associate with the Stanford Electronics Laboratory and a co-director of a solar research program at the time of his death in 1961.
