Abstract:
This collection contains records relating to the management of the Shanti Project and its programs. This includes materials dating from both before and after the Shanti Project changed its focus from life-threatening illness in general to AIDS exclusively in 1984. Materials range from monthly reports from the program managers to several versions of the Shanti Volunteer Training Manual, showing the programs evolution. There is one folder of information concerning the resignation of Executive Director Jim Geary in 1988.
