Rochelle Owens, poet and playwright, was born on April 2, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York. Her works include: Not Be Essence That Cannot Be,The Joe Eighty-Two Creation Poems,Futz,He Wants Shih!, and The Karl Marx Play, among others.
