This collection comprises publications of the University of California, Irvine, Student Housing office, the undergraduate and graduate housing communities, and the campus representative program, which offers campus tours. Included are announcements, newsletters, directories, brochures, invitations, manuals, magazines, fliers, reports, and printed ephemera.

The UCI Student Housing office operates under the Office of Student Affairs and includes seven housing communities. As of 2007 undergraduate communities include Arroyo Vista, Campus Village, Mesa Court, Middle Earth, and Vista del Campo. Graduate and family communities include Palo Verde, Verano Place, and Vista del Campo. UCI guarantees two years of housing to all freshmen who are single, under the age of 25, enrolled in the current term, and meet the housing application and contract-return deadlines. Undergraduate communities include special interest and theme halls.
