The Brother Henry, F.S.C., Microfilm Collection of Early Roman Catholic California consists of microfilm reels of early California mission registers that a Brother Henry, F.S.C., of the De La Salle Institute in Napa, California, filmed. Brother Henry began the project sometime in the late 1960s and continued microfilming registers into the 1970s. Mission registers include Baptismal (Bautismos), Burials (Difuntos), and Marriages (Matrimonios) Registers. The collection is arranged by each mission or church on the series level; only Series 1, Los Angeles Plaza Church, is open to researchers. The dates of the content found in the microfilm reels of Series One range from 1826 to the 1970s. The second number after the box label stands for the microfilm reel.
