"The UCSB Affiliates is one of UCSB's most long-standing support groups, and the largest.

"The purpose of this organization is to strengthen relationships between UCSB and the greater Santa Barbara area communities. Membership provides enriching and enjoyable ways to access the educational and cultural resources of the University of California, Santa Barbara.

"The UCSB Affiliates offer members a wide spectrum of program series and lectures, which feature faculty from around the campus."

The Affiliates are a subgroup of the Office of Community Relations.
