Henry Davidson Sheldon (1874-1948) was a professor of education and history and dean of the School of Education at the University of Oregon. He earned an A.B. in history in 1896 and an A.M. in education in 1897, both from Stanford University. Sheldon earned his Ph.D. at Clark University in 1900.
