The UCSB College of Engineering is comprised of separate departments of Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Materials, and Mechanical Engineering, while also working in conjunction with the departments of Biomolecular Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering Program, and Media Arts & Technology as well as a large number of institutes and research groups inside and outside the UC system. The college boasts two Nobel Laureates.
