Scope and content:

Images of Stanford University, primarily of the inner quad and its arcades and arches, and views of the outer quad buildings; other images include the interior and exterior of Memorial Church, Memorial Arch, Chemistry building, Lake Lagunita, Palm Drive, and other campus roads.

Biographical / historical:

Oscar V. Lange (1853-1913) was a photographer and landscape painter in the San Francisco Bay Area during the late 19th century. He is known for photographing architectural subjects and railroad workers.
