Abstract:
The Model Colony Audio-visual collection consists of a variety of items pertaining to the history of Ontario and the area, its social life and customs, and significant people of the West End of San Bernardino County. Also included in this collection are motion picture films on DVD and videotape, starring actors who made Ontario their home and films featuring Oscar-winning art director Henry Bumstead, an Ontario native. In addition, there are several reels of amateur film footage of various events and attractions in California, such as Disneyland, Santa's Village, and the Tournament of Roses Parade, and local videotaped events such as the Ontario All States Picnic and Parade. The collection also includes informative videos created by the City of Ontario about the city and city business.
