Scope and content:

This collection contains newspapers from the local area, including Carpinteria, Goleta, Isla Vista, Santa Ynez Valley, Montecito, and Santa Barbara. Included are those titles for which Special Collections has single issues or short broken runs. Newspapers with substantial runs have been cataloged individually and are included in this guide as a separate list.
