Album compiled, presumably, by a member of the family of Mariano Malarin and his wife Isidora Pacheco de Malarin, of Santa Clara, Calif. (both of whom are pictured.) Includes one view (item no. 50) of the Pacheco and Malarin house, Washington St., Santa Clara, Calif. Most are portraits of Malarin family members or relations or friends, including members of the David Spence family, as well as sitters with surnames Arguello, Pacheco, Abrego, Estrada, Fatjo, Somavia, and others.

Inscription inside cover: From Zoila Malarin on my 21st birthday. August 18th, 1946. Austin Judge y Fatjo. For my nephew Christopher Ahearn. [Recording 1946 gift to Judge y Fatjo, and later gift by him to Ahearn.] Gift to the library from the Fatjo family, via Albert Shumate.
