Topics include budget planning, campus safety and security, computer equipment, emergency protocol, employee benefits, demographics, retirement plans, staff and faculty salaries, employment opportunities, energy management, grievance procedures, institutional research, staff and faculty housing, student mail, tuition costs, voicemail implementation, and the Year-in-Europe program. Materials range from 1974 to 1987.

The Operations Committee, now called the Emergency Operations Committee, is responsible for ensuring campus security and safety, addressing legalities pertaining to employees and students, and making decisions regarding policies that would affect the function of Pepperdine University. Past Committee members include Mike Adams, William Adrian, Larry Craft, David Davenport, Warren Dillard, Rick Ellison, Larry Hornbaker, Max Hullinger, Ed Mandrell, John Nicks, Mike O'Neal, Jim Penrod, William B. Phillips, Peter Quan, Shirley Roper, Clarissa Singleton, Ron Stephens, Bob Thomas, John Watson, and Howard White.
