Timothy James Larson (1942-2011) was a pastor, educator, therapist (Jungian), caregiver and author. He received a BA from Wheaton college; MDiv, Fuller Theological Seminary; and PhD in Education, Claremont Graduate School.
When he turned 50, he felt called to become a monk. He worked with poor and homeless in Baltimore, Maryland, and then with elderly and terminally ill in hospice settings in and around Santa Barbara, California. Following two major surgeries in 1999, he became permanently disabled. He spent much of the last decade of his life in creative journaling, art, and prayer.
