The collection contains farm labor contracts, many of which are California United Farm Workers (UFW) collective bargaining agreements. A searchable and browseable collection of many of these California UFW collective bargaining agreements can be found on the Giannini Foundation web site.

Biographical / historical:

Philip L. Martin (1949- ) serves as Professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of California, Davis. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1975. His research focuses on: immigration, farm labor, and economic development.
