Scope and content:

Negatives and contact sheets depicting scenes from the Vietnam War and American servicemen in Vietnam.

Overseas Weekly covered themes including American military action, humanitarian efforts, and the conditions of the Vietnamese civilians affected by the war. Each negative or contact sheet is accompanied by a typed summary describing the images written by the photographer and submitted to the editors of the publication. These caption sheets have been transcribed and the text maintained as the primary description for the images.
