This small artificial collection consists of maps ranging from Eagle Rock, in Los Angeles city, to San Diego. The provenance of most of the maps is unknown; they were previously stored, loose. Hence the decision to create an artificial collection.

Some maps with known provenance were rolled over into this collection; their accession numbers are noted below.

The type of maps range from precinct maps, to real estate maps, to automobile road maps.
