Alice Bransten Block was born in San Francisco on July 2, 1910 to Edward Bransten and Florine Bransten (née Haas), and had
three siblings: William, Edward Jr., and Frances. Alice married George Samuel Block and had a child, Peter Lawrence Block.
Alice married Sol Kauffman and had a child, Thomas Edward Kauffman. She died on February 20, 1998.
