Sidney Carroll graduated from Harvard University in 1934. In 1940, he married singer June Carroll to whom he would remain

The Louvre and
The Forbidden City documentaries received Emmy Awards in Outstanding Program Achievement. His work on
Omnibus garnered him an Edgar Award in 1957 and he was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on the film
The Hustler in 1961. Carroll died in Los Angeles, CA on November 3, 1988.
