Biographical/Historical Sketch
LeRoy Abrams (1874–1956) was an American botanist and author. He was a Professor of Botany
at Stanford University (1900-1904, 1906-1940; emeritus 1940-1956). He wrote and illustrated
a four-volume Illustrated Flora of the Pacific States, with the final volume published
posthumously, after compilation and editing by Roxanna Ferris.
Description of the Collection
Correspondence regarding dispute over ownership of L.A. Patterson property in Tennessee,
diplomas, notebook, French song book, exercise book for articulation, diary of 1933 trip,
scrapbook, and photographs.
