Background
The
Sierra
Club was founded in 1892 by John Muir in San Francisco, California. The Southwest Office includes the Utah Chapter, the Rocky
Mountain Chapter (Colorado), the Rio Grande Chapter (New Mexico), and the Grand Canyon Chapter (Arizona). The Southwest Regional
Office is located in Phoenix, Arizona, with additional offices in Boulder, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah.
