Abstract: The Basil Miller Foundation was founded in 1950 in Altadena, California. Its name changed to World-Wide Missions in 1960.
Statement of purpose - “Religious, charitable, benevolent...to promote production and distribution of Christian literature,
to further the training of ministers and other religious workers… and to furnish their support, to conduct religious services,
and to improve the moral and social conditions of humanity.”
The collection consists of a small number of personal papers of Basil Miller, his daughter Esther Howard (Remington), documents
of transfer of leadership of World-Wide Missions, photos of the Pasadena office and its volunteers and several ministry trips
taken by Basil Miller as well as Esther Howard.

Scope and Content of Collection
The collection consists of a small number of personal papers of Basil Miller, his daughter Esther Howard (Remington), documents
of transfer of leadership of World-Wide Missions, photos of the Pasadena office and its volunteers and several ministry trips
taken by Basil Miller as well as
Esther Howard. Also included are newsletters of the World-Wide Missions ministry, Newsletters from Twin Wells Indian School
and a collection of books published by World-Wide Missions.
