Scope and content:

This subseries includes an index, created in the 1940s, of project drawings as they were filed in tubes and envelopes in the office of Arthur Brown, Jr. & Associates at 251 Kearny Street, San Francisco, CA. This index exists in both a binder and card file form. This subseries also contains a group of ledgers in which are recorded individual sheet listings for each project, which include information such as sheet titles, drawing completion dates, the name of the draftsperson responsible for the sheet. This subseries also contains some reference drawings used in research for large projects and a "Comparison of Towers by Arthur Brown, Jr."
