Scope and content:: The papers contain materials relating to American military activities during the Vietnam War, including a memoir, propaganda leaflets, other printed matter, and photographs. They include photographs of postwar Vietnam; and photographs, postcards, guidebooks, and other printed matter relating to war monuments and other historical monuments and museums in various countries of Asia and Europe.
Biographical / historical:: Hefron was a private first class in the United States Army, serving as a member of the 90th Replacement Battalion from 1969 to 1970, and professor of political science at Troy State University, Pacific Region, and European Region.
