ABSTRACT
Two black and white photoprints mounted on board taken of a military parade in San Diego
on February 22, 1897. Both views were taken from the same place at slightly different
times and depict the procession, buildings along the street, and the crowd of spectators.
The photoprints are numbered 2526 and 2527.
J.E. Slocum worked as a landscape photographer in San Diego and maintained a studio at
854 Fourth Street.
