Description
This collection consists of views taken by Holden and published by Underwood and Underwood as a boxed set. Subjects include Stanford University buildings and a student race on Lake Lagunita; homes in Palo Alto; Greek Theatre and the Faculty Club House at UC Berkeley; two bird's eye views of San Francisco and various animals in Golden Gate Park; redwood groves near Santa Cruz; and Point Lobos, Cypress Point, and other images of Monterey County. Collection also includes the original housing, a box simulated to look like two books.
Background
Henry Ambrose Holden attended Stanford University between 1911 and his death in 1914.
