Santa Clara University Medals and Awards Collection consists of 57 medals and awards, including academic awards and prizes, organization pins, and commemorative medals dating from 1854-1989.

From its founding in 1851 to the present, Santa Clara University has had a tradition of awarding students for academic excellence, outstanding oratorical and literary skills, and service to the community. The medals and awards in this collection reflect this tradition of rewarding excellence.

Publications Rights Permission to copy or publish any portion of the Archives' materials must be given by the Archives.
