Southwest Postcard Collection, MSS 0235. Mandeville Special Collections Library, UCSD.
A collection of ca. 500 postcards bearing images of the southwest United States and Baja,
California. The collection is arranged geographically by name of the location represented
on the postcard. Sites of interest include Ensenada, La Paz, Tijuana, Del Mar, San Diego,
and Santa Barbara. The majority of the postcards date between 1900 and 1930.
An artificial collection constructed by Mandeville staff from two or more accessions of
postcards featuring images of southwestern and Baja California sites. The collection is
added to as postcards are received.
