Description
The class sought to interview persons who were instrumental in the formation and early years of the GTU. These persons were all living in Berkeley or California at the time of the interviews. When the collection was given, Ms. Zikmund noted that the tapes from John Dillenberger and Robert Kimball were missing. The interviewees signed release forms. These are on file in the GTU Archives master files. The release forms for Sanford Elberg and Sherman Johnson were missing on receipt of the collection.
Background
This collection is the result of course work from a class on oral history offered at the Pacific School of Religion by Barbara Brown Zikmund and Charles McCoy, Spring 1988. The interviews were conducted by Zikmund, McCoy, and various members of the class during March, April, and May, 1988.
