Description
The Engineering Case Program, which began at Stanford University in 1964, provided written accounts of engineering problems
to be used in the training of engineers. This collection consists of the master files from 114 cases where the author was
a Stanford faculty or staff member or the event described happened in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to the case
description, some files include correspondence, memoranda, diagrams, and photographs.
Background
Henry O. Fuchs was professor of mechanical engineering at Stanford University, 1964-1973, and director of the Engineering
Case Program.
