Pacific Islands Monthly was a publication first appearing in August 1930. Stuart Inder served as co-editor from 1957 to 1964 and sole editor from 1964 until October 1975. Inder served as editor again from 1979 to 1980 and was the publisher of the magazine from February 1972 to August 1980.
