Interview with Weldon B. Gibson concerning the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, its dean Ernest C. Arbuckle,
other Stanford faculty, collegiate athletics, and the Stanford Research Institute.
Weldon B. Gibson, who earned his MBA in 1940 and his PhD in 1950 from Stanford University, was one of the first fellows at
the Stanford Research Institute and its Senior Director in the 1980's. He also taught at Stanford's Graduate School of Business
and served on the Athletic Board. Ernest C. Arbuckle, Stanford Class of 1933, was Dean of the Graduate School of Business
from 1958 to 1968 and chairman of SRI from 1966-1970.
