Collection contains letters to George and Eleanor Howard from Henry Miller and Anaïs Nin, as well as manuscripts by Miller
and Nin, and ephemera. Also contains letters from Henry Miller to Laura. Manuscripts include Miller's Letters to Emil, Mara-Marignan marinated, Opus Pistorum par Couillon, and Nin's Auletris, and various erotica by her, mostly published in Delta of Venus or Little birds.
Property rights to the physical object belong to the UCLA Library, Department of Special Collections. Literary rights, including
copyright, are retained by the creators and their heirs. It is the responsibility of the researcher to determine who holds
the copyright and pursue the
copyright owner or his or her heir for permission to publish where The UC Regents do not hold the copyright.
