This series contains the files of J. C. Harper who served as Ellen Browning Scripps's business advisor and friend for many years later in her life. This is one of the largest series in the collection and includes J. C. Harper's correspondence and his files regarding the Claremont Colleges, Pomona College, and Scripps College. Other J. C. Harper material may be found in many of the other series in this collection.
