Biography
Christopher Philip Mackenzie Ashton, writer and journalist, received his bachelor's degree in social anthropology from Trinity
College, Oxford University, in 1968. During his long residency in Papua New Guinea, he wrote for the PACIFIC ISLANDS MONTHLY
and produced radio documentaries and interviews with prominent Papua New Guineans.
