Manuscripts include The Shaman's last raid, Killer-of-death, and Walk the world's rim. Correspondence is with various publishers and other members of the Western Writers of America.

Biography

Betty Lou Baker was born on June 20, 1928 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; became a writer specializing in writing historical fiction about the Southwestern U.S.; she died November 6, 1987 in Tucson, Arizona.

Collection consists of manuscripts, galleys, newspaper clippings, publicity releases, ephemera, and correspondence of westerns writer Betty Baker. Manuscripts include The Shaman's last raid, Killer-of-death, and Walk the world's rim. Correspondence is with various publishers and other members of the Western Writers of America.
