Biographical/Historical Sketch

Charles N. Cross was associate professor of mechanical engineering at Stanford University from 1906 to 1932; he earned his master's degree at Cornell in 1906.

Collection consists of two copies of Cross's unpublished work (1924) and one copy of an annotated version with many corrections and updated tables (1924-25). Included in this volume are lecture outlines from 1921-22.
