Description
The collection contains letters, clippings, working files, legal documents, and photographs. The bulk of the collection consists
of materials relating to her work for the County of Marin, primarily her work as the Director of the Criminal Justice Planning
Agency. Also included are materials on Eugene Burns and Sally Stanford and Aaron's involvement with the cases. Family papers
include information on Aaron's education and career, and other family members. One of the highlights of the collection is
a biographical narrative dictated by Aaron's mother, Clara Hurst (Herscovich), detailing her emigration from Romania to Canada,
and Canada to the United States. The collection is divided into 5 series: Family and Personal Papers, Political and Public
Service Work, Eugene Burns Case, Sally Stanford Case, and Photographs.
