The collection consists of 51 scripts which document three years of aired programs. Topics covered include community histories,
local industries, transit, military, medical and personal histories.
The Women's Regional Planning Committee was established in 1960 and shortly after was reorganized into a club. Between 1960
and 1963, the Planning Club interviewed professional historians and civic leaders relating to the history and contemporary
development of San Diego. The program was co-produced and broadcast by KGB-AM.
The copyright interests in these materials have not been transferred to San Diego State University. Copyright resides with
the creators of materials contained in the collection or their heirs. The nature of historical archival and manuscript collections
is such that copyright status may be difficult or even impossible to determine. Requests for permission to publish must be
