The conference was composed of representatives from Bay Area school boards, colleges and universities.
Minutes from two meetings of the conference, August 15 and September 11, 1951, discussing the possible use of a television
station to education and acquisition of VHF channel 9 which the FCC had reserved for educational use. Stanford representatives
