Biographical/Historical Sketch
Project Brav New World was performance artwork done by a group of Stanford students (associated with the Matthias K. Rath
Museum of Destruction and Resurrection in the Kairos dorm) who attempted to create an overnight Cult of Personality centered
on John C. Bravman, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education.
Images of the banners featuring Bravman's face that were unfurled in various campus locations, stickers that were distributed
on campus, copies of email among the student artists, and clippings on the event.
The Stanford University Archives also holds one of the banners and two t-shirts from this event in the Archives Museum Collection.
